Immerse yourself in the untouched nature of the region. Our hotel is located in the heart of the Dahme-Heideseen Nature Park. Here, nature lovers will find numerous hiking and award-winning cycling paths that lead through picturesque forests, along crystal-clear lakes and across green meadows. Explore the Dahme-Heideseen Nature Park and be enchanted by its variety of flora and fauna, which you no longer often find in Germany in this abundance and diversity. 

Hike along the numerous (educational) trails that lead you through lush forests, rolling hills and picturesque lake landscapes. You can fully enjoy the natural beauty of the region on the well-marked hiking trails, or cycle along the Dahmeradweg, which leads right past the hotel. As the name suggests, you cycle along the Dahme. The cycle path starts in Berlin Köpenick and ends after 123 km at the mouth in the village Kolpien. 

The numerous lakes and waterways in the nature park also offer countless opportunities for water sports enthusiasts. Whether canoe, kayak or stand-up paddle board - explore the water landscapes on your own or enjoy a relaxing day on the shore, either completely pure and for nature lovers or in one of the numerous beaches with full facilities. Everything is possible with us! True to the motto of our old King Fritz, “Everyone should be saved in their own way“. 

The Dahme-Heideseen Nature Park is a habitat for a variety of animal and plant species. Look out for rare birds, frogs, otters and other fascinating animals. If you're lucky, you might even spot the majestic sea eagle in the wild. The Heinz Sielmann Foundation's “Natural Landscape of the Groß Schauener Seen” is only a few minutes away from the Cellino. Explore this particularly protected piece of landscape on the well-marked nature trails. Along the paths you will find viewing platforms and observation posts, which offer you an ideal opportunity to observe the wildlife, take fascinating photos, and hear unusual sounds such as the deep, bellowing call of the bittern. The bird that is popular with nature lovers and ornithologists alike because of its mysterious lifestyle and distinctive call. 

In addition to nature, the Dahme Lake District also offers cultural attractions. These include historic and rustic villages, castles, churches and museums. The cities of Königs Wusterhausen with the Schloß Königs Wusterhausen“ the hunting castle of King Friedrich Wilhelm I, where he regularly held his famous "Tobacco College", Storkow with the over 800 year old castle in the center or the sophisticated Bad Saarow on lake Scharmützelsee are popular and worthwhile excursion destinations. 

The Spreewald, this unique mix of natural experiences, cultural impressions and regional hospitality, is also only 30 minutes by car from the Hotel. It is an ideal excursion destination for the whole family. And of course the capital. Berlin, with its countless attractions of all kinds, can be reached quickly by public transport. 

If the weather doesn't invite you to do outdoor activities, how about a visit to one of the numerous thermal baths or water parks in the region? For example the Saarow Therme, the Tropical Island, the Schwapp water park in Fürstenwalde. Or how would you like to swim with penguins? This is possible at the Spreewelten Bad in Lübbenau!
